What is the Shape of Water?
Saturday, May 4. 1-4 p.m.
IMET Open House
Baltimore Inner Harbor

“What is the Shape of Water?” is across-species dialog with light emitting organisms with CIRCA-IMET Artist in Residence Professor Lisa Moren and UMCES Assistant Research Professor Dr. Tsvetan Bachvaroff.

The single-cell dinoflagellate is a primary food source for the animals living in the Inner Harbor. Also called phytoplankton, these independent gems produce their own food and light through photosynthesis. The artist and marine biologist will show the audience how they can communicate with the dinoflagellates through voice and light.
