Trio Sirènes – flutist Marcia Kämper, violist Karin Brown, and harpist Jacqueline Pollauf – performs a program of contemporary works with additional performers drawn from the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the UMBC faculty. Trio Sirènes enjoys pushing boundaries and highlighting the diverse sonic possibilities of their wind, string and percussion instruments. Focusing on music written in the last twenty years, this program features music by Anna Clyne, Hannah Lash, Robert Paterson, Hilary Tann, and a recent commission by Dolf Kämper.

Sungji Hong (b. 1973) — Et descendit (2015)
Hannah Lash (b. 1981) — Three Shades without Angles (2013)
Anna Clyne (b. 1980) — Beware of (2007)
Dolf Kämper (b. 1976) — “My Father is Dead. He was eaten by Owls” (2013)
Hilary Tann (b. 1947) — From the Song of Amergin (1995)

Tickets: $15 general admission, $10 seniors, $5 students, free for UMBC Music majors and Music faculty/staff. Tickets available at the box office (PAHB 238 – cash or check only) or online via MissionTix.com.
