The Center for Art, Design and Visual Culture (CADVC) presents CODEX, featuring works by Brandon Ables, Jason Charney, Mandy Morrison, and Adan Rodriguez, four emerging visual artists from the Baltimore/Washington region. Encompassing a wide range of technologies and materials, their works embody the elements of social practice and community involvement as well as critiques on contemporary culture. The artists are 2020 recipients of MFA degrees in Intermedia and Digital Arts and were to be featured in an in-person exhibition originally scheduled for spring 2020; their works are now presented in a virtual environment.

We Make Art

OCA Mocha

The Gallery at OCA Mocha presents We Make Art, an exhibition created in collaboration with Make Studio, a non-profit community-based arts organization based in Baltimore that envisions a world of acceptance and inclusion in which art opens doors for everyone. Make Studio empowers artists with disabilities to grow as professionals with visibility and voice in their communities.

UMBC's Library Gallery presents the online exhibition ERRANDS, featuring the work of Zachary Z. Handler, opening February 1 and closing February 28. A UMBC alumnus, Handler created ERRANDS, a portrait series documenting the shared shelter-in-place experiences of people around the globe, in response to stay-at-home orders issued by the State of Maryland on March 30, 2020.
