Please join us for an online lecture by Christopher K. Morgan, who brings over 20 years of international experience and high artistic acclaim to his leadership roles as Artistic & Executive Director of Christopher K. Morgan & Artists (CKM&A), as Director of the Dance Omi International Dance Collective, and as the recently-appointed Executive Artistic Director of Dance Place in Washington D.C.
Morgan’s choreography has been presented in 18 countries on 5 continents and has addressed issues including sexuality, gender identity, race, climate change, immigration and water conservation. His native Hawaiian ancestry and a diverse, international modern dance career — which moved him from Orange County, California, to San Diego, Munich, New York, London, Dublin and now our nation’s capitol — have influenced his work as an administrator, choreographer, educator, facilitator, curator and performer.
